Something has been weighing on me for quite some time. On August 21, 2006, a clear message was delivered to the world. The message was simple and succinct consisting of four words — "Don't download this song". I did not heed the message. I downloaded the song. I played the song. Now I can't get the melody out of my head.

I feel very guilty for doing this and would like to offer my sincere apology for my action. It was wrong to download the song and I knew it was wrong. I did not realize by downloading the song, it might prevent the purchase of another solid-gold Humvee or a diamond-studded swimming pool. Ignorance is no excuse. I was wrong to download the song and I regret my action.

Please accept my apology. I don't want to go to jail.
